Welcome to PrimaPersian!
We’re Kristina and Brad Morrison, and our small, CFA-registered Persian cattery is located in our home in Rogers, Arkansas—just minutes from the Missouri and Oklahoma borders and approximately 15 minutes from XNA airport.
Our cats are first and foremost members of our family. Our kittens are raised underfoot in our home with daily handling, affection and all the normal activity of family life. Our adult cats enjoy living as part of our household, too. We believe the way a kitten is raised is every bit as important as how beautiful that kitten is.
We have carefully selected our breeding cats for health, temperament, beautiful coats, eye color and Persian type, with a special love for shaded silvers and goldens. Our goal is to raise healthy, confident, affectionate Persians who transition easily into life with their forever families.
For more than 25 years, we have also owned a specialty retail business in Bentonville. Being self-employed allows us to spend a great deal of time at home with our cats and kittens, giving them the individual attention and socialization they deserve.
Every PrimaPersian kitten receives a veterinary health examination, age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming and is spayed or neutered before leaving us. Our kittens also leave with our two-year genetic health guarantee. Kittens typically join their new families between 12 and 18 weeks of age, depending upon their individual development and readiness.
We take placement just as seriously as we take breeding. Prospective families complete an application so that we can learn about their home, lifestyle and expectations and help make the best possible match—for both kitten and family.
Proud CFA Cattery of Excellence
PrimaPersian proudly participated in the Cat Fanciers’ Association Cattery of Excellence program until CFA discontinued the program. Each year, we voluntarily opened our cattery to independent inspection and earned CFA’s Cattery of Excellence designation.
The program required evaluation of the cattery environment and represented something very important to us: outside accountability for the standards of care we work hard to maintain every day.
Although CFA no longer offers the program, we remain proud of having earned this distinction and continue to hold ourselves to those same standards.
We believe responsible breeding means doing what is best for each cat and kitten—even when no one is there to inspect.
